Generation Clash

H&M Dress & cardigan || Zara belt || Teva sandals

I didn't really do much this weekend. I worked on saturday and earned just enough money to buy those boots from my last post! They are from Steve Madden, by the way (the Troopa boots). On sunday we went out to dinner with Kenneths family. His grandfather heard something about a machine called iPad, and he wanted to know what it was for. Than his grandmother got the iPad confused with the iPod. It was quiet hilarious as you can imagine! We decided not to tell them there also are things called iPhone, iTunes, iMac and iWhatnot. Where do we actually need all these things for? His grandparents reminded us that they came from a time where cars were rare and they still had to handwrite letters to their loved ones, where typewriters weren't collactables and where computers were still scary.

When I saw the pricetag from one of those iPads I imagined what other things I could do with that money. Buy 25 dresses, a week off to Paris or London, a year in college, ... . What would you do with €500?
