Sweet nibblets! Yesterday there was sunshine and 30° weather, today there has been nothing but rain, wind and cold. Urgh, Belgian weather! But there was a little something in my commentbox to brighten things up!

I suffer from acute festivalitis

{Dress Aaiko}

I just got back from school and ran straight for my computer.
Today the first names of the Pukkelpop Festival were released, they were AWESOME!
Foo Fighters, Rise Against, Eminem, Deftones, Apocaliptica and many, many more.

Can't wait until they release more names...
I can't go the whole 3 days because the festival is in the mids of my summer re-examination spree. 

Too bad as I went, like we call it, 'combi' the last two years. 

Easter/ Birthday

Happy Easter you guys! I have (kinda) been away from blogland the past two days. I had to study my Biopsychology and Philosophy books, I had an intervieuw with a friend for another course and I had my little birthday party with the family. I got a most delicious cake {I just ate the last piece to the last crum} but no presents...yet. If everything goes to plan my present will arrive in July! I can't wait! 

So here's what I wore today. The above picture was taken at my grandmothers, where the family from my mom's side gathered to celebrate Easter and enjoy a big family meal. I swear my grandmother makes the best vegtable soup ever! Due to the wheather, it was like 30°C, the Easter bunny wasn't able to hide any chocolate eggs in the garden, but he did leave a basket filled with eggs by the front door. The cutie!

Tomorrow is the last day of my springbreak and there will be a huge fleamarket in town!

 I am going to spend all day up there trying to find some scores.

Freckles

There was a little shock when I looked in the mirror this morning. The sun had been shining non-stop for more than a week (untill yesterday, there was rain and clouds and even hail) and hups, there they are again. Those little bastards. People say the freckles in my face are cute, but sometimes I have bad ones. This year is no exception, I have some freckles that could be melanoma and so they need to be removed. I hate it when the doctor has to remove my bad freckles.

My friend Susan said that these pictures reminded her of Alice in Wonderland.

Now, I don't think they have parking signs in Wonderland, now do they? ^^

Freckles and Ginger go hand in hand, and they have a third friend, called White Skin.
I don't like mister White Skin all that much...

These pictures were taken at the windmill near my boyfriends house.
The apple tree was blossoming and the sun was shining. What a perfect day.
Except, most of the pictures failed, since we cycled up there and my hair was a mess!

Disneyland: The Pictures

Last weekend the boyfriend and I drove to France to go to Disneyland.

We had to get up at 4am and were home at midnight, I was so tired!

We celebrated my birthday with a huge candy floss and enjoyed the themepark.

Here are some {very touristic, I know} photos of the day!

You see why I said huge candy floss? It's 2x the size of my head!

I now must return to my books.

There is only one week of vacation left and I still have a whole lot of studying to do...

Blossom

No, not the powerpuff girl. {oh, I used to love that cartoon!}. We have a certain tree in our backyard that suddenly has an enourmous amount of sweet soft pink blossoms. As my mom is complaining about all the little pink leaves she will have to clean next week, I grabbed my camera and took some snaps of this rare event. {every  other plant in our garden is dead or just plain green}

There was this little spider building it's web between some of the flowers. My niece named him Samson. 

To edit the photos I used the cross-proces effect, you can also find it in Picnik (free editor).

It's one of my favorite effects.

Birthday Dresses

To followers of this blog it has probably has already become clear, and to be honest I know I have been going over the top with the posting of beautiful items from Anthropologie, Modcloth and Ruche.

 But then again, can you blame me?

Way to expensive for me really, I am a student without work so I have to stick to a tight budget.
Still that doesn't hold me back from drooling over the online pages from Anthro.

Totally my thing. Their romantic dresses are always amazing.
This shop is probably my all time favorite!

Eclectic Styled

A little bit of this, a little bit of that. That's how you could best discribe it. This style is by defenition invented for me. I love to display my souvenirs, install my fleamarket finds, light, white walls, flowers, ... . There is something missing in these pictures. the interior in this house looks a little bit dead to me. But these images serve well as an inspiration source.
